Nonni Pillow

My son Matthew has been best friends with "the boys" since he was about 2 years old.  We see them at least once a week.  Sometimes more - sometimes less.  By now they know each other so well and are best friends.

"The boys" have only one set of grandparents still living.  They do not get to see them often because they live in Italy.  Their Nonni spoils them rotten and they miss their grandparents very much when they are not with them.  When they are in town we like to have them over.  Their English is better than my Italian, but we enjoy being together with them.

I wanted to make them a keepsake that they could take home with them.  I asked "the boys" Mom for  a picture and then turned it into a pillow.

You can read more about the pillow on the We All Sew blog.

Be Spooky Banner

Do you love banners as much as I do?

Halloween is one of my favorite holidays.  It might have something to do with the color orange or it might be the free candy!

Banners are a quick way to decorate and I would like to show you my "Be Spooky" banner.  It was featured on We All Sew.  Once again, I went to All About Blanks to purchase their Bright Color Cocktail Napkins.  I then shopped at Embroidery Online and found two designs sets that I thought would be perfect for the banner.  Charming Letters #12422 and Halloween Sayings #12267.

This banner was "sew easy".  It took no time at all.

What would your banner say?

Who knew an apron could be so easy?

I want to show you a quick and easy project.  This 4th of July apron was made using a plain white dish towel from All About Blanks.

You can get the PDF of this project on their website: All About Blanks

You can also see the apron featured on  We All Sew

It features a design from Embroidery Online.  The design is from the collection  #12408 Radiant Celebrations

This was a very easy project.  The very best towels are from All About Blanks.

Enjoy!
